I had frequently visited The Fashion Spot to get the latest news about Fashion and had long wish to join this forum. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone who could introduce me to be a member. After quite a long wait, I decided to try my luck and registered as a member but was on their pending list. I know some people have to wait for a long time just to get approved. So, I decided to google out any options to a faster way. That's when I saw angelchinky offering another member a help - an invitation! I was just trying my luck, I do not know whether I will succeed and honestly, I do put any high hopes on it. But, angelchinky is such an angel, she granted my wish and now I'm officially a member of The Fashion Spot. Here, I would like to say fantaisland is on The Fashion Spot. Hurrah! Special thanks to Angelchinky!

Sasha Pivovarova is indeed a beauty, mesmerizing in her own ways.I like it best when she is looking fierce but her natural beauty shines when she is looking herself most. One more thing I notice is how many ads she was in a single mag. Here she is on the cover and when you flipped behind the cover is her Chanel Paris-Moscow ad, few pages more is her Biotherm ad and then she appears again with Jessica Stam in the Giorgio Armani cosmetic ad. A top model indeed.

A definite yes for DKNY for featuring such a young urban cool kind of cast. All of the girls look so chic in their own way. I prefer this campaign than the last few seasons where they only shot a single girl at NYC (previously with Jessica Stam and Vlada). Looking so ladylike, I, especially like Liu Wen and Diana Farkhullina. Can't wait to see more images...

Anja Rubik looking fabulous in Gucci. My only question is, why use the same outfit? Even if it's for Pre-Fall, I believe there would be other equally attractive outfits as well. Maybe they could use these:

Glad to see Snejana back especially on her own country's Russian Vogue. Snejana has not been active editorial and campaign wise, and only walked a few selected shows. I wonder what happens to her momentum, she used to front every possible covers and campaigns. Models can be the "it girl" today gone tomorrow but I hope this does not happen to her. She is a top model in her own rights and I hope that she will regain her momentum back. Just like Sasha Pivovarova when she was replaced by Linda Evangelista for Prada, everybody wonders what will happen to her but after a little break (from the catwalk) Sasha comes out strong, scoring tons of campaigns and remains the most sought after models today. I just hope that the same thing goes for Snejana Onopka. Maybe she need to lay a low profile, deserving a longer break and come back with a bang!

She's British, she's famous and she's grown up. Emma Watson was chosen to front the Burberry Fall Winter 2009 campaign. She has sure grown up in front of us since she first appeared in Harry Porter as Hermione Granger. Back then, Emma Watson is a cute young star together with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Just how fast time flies, and now we have Emma Watson as the Burberry girl. I like this campaign because I like Emma Watson but at the same time, I think it resembles Burberry very much. Simple, clean , sophisicated, very British. Saying this, I think the best Burberry ad to date is their Spring Summer 2008 ad with Lily Donaldson and Agyness Deyn. I liked that collection the best too simple because they're so vibrant, chic and I've never seen such color used on clothing since I don't even know when!

Anna Selezneva adds another Vogue cover to her portfolio, this time featured as the cover girl for Vogue China in the July issue. She has already appeared in Vogue Italia, Paris, Nippon and Russia respectively. This is her fifth Vogue cover.
